OUR SERVICES
What we work with
Every service has the same terms: sessions are 50 minutes, your clinician sets the pace with you, and how you pay is on the How fees work page.
Worry and sleep
For adults whose worry is loudest at night. We look at what your mind does at bedtime and how the day feeds it. Where it fits, we add CBT-I, cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia: a structured method with a sleep diary and a plan we set together. Dr. Dugan's CBT-I training is through the Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine.

Not a sleep study or a medical diagnosis
If you think a medical condition affects your sleep, see your physician

Anxiety & overwhelm
For adults who feel on edge much of the day. We work with the thoughts that keep worry going and with how the body carries it, using CBT, somatic tracking and acceptance-based work.

Depression & grief
For adults who feel flat, heavy or cut off, or who are carrying a loss. We make room for what is there, look at what sits underneath and work at the pace your energy allows.

Trauma-informed work
For adults whose past still echoes. We work with the body as well as with words, and go only as fast as you can manage. The methods used, and where Dr. Dugan trained in each, are explained at your first session.

Relationship patterns
For adults who keep landing in the same dynamics with partners, family or work. We trace where the patterns began and practice something different. This is individual therapy, not couples therapy.

Life transitions
A new job or the end of one, becoming a parent, losing a parent. When the ground moves, therapy can be a place to grieve what was, look at what is and think about what could be.

The Process
How we begin together
Every person's path is different. It usually starts like this.
- 01
Step 1: Write to us
Send a message with your name and how to reach you. Dr. Dugan replies on a weekday with times and your fee in writing.
- 02
Step 2: Your first session
Fifty minutes to talk about what you want from therapy, what your nights are like and what pace feels right.
- 03
Step 3: The work
With a plan you have agreed to, we look at patterns and the body and, where it fits, add a structured sleep method.
- 04
Step 4: Checking in
Every few sessions we look at what is helping and change course if needed.
